Women’s Ministry

My heart is to see women living a thriving, abundant life in Christ. If you have that same heart, this page is for you!

“I have come that they may have life and have, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Are you in need of ice breaker ideas, event ideas, mentoring programs, retreats? Check out my resource page for these and many more!

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7

Let Me Help You as a Women’s Ministry Leader!

After serving in women’s ministry for over 25 years, I know firsthand the joys—and the pressures—that come with the calling. Whether you’re organizing your very first event or trying to breathe fresh life into a long-standing ministry, the weight of leadership can feel overwhelming.

That’s why I’m here—to offer practical help, encouragement, and resources that I’ve developed and refined over decades of ministry.

I’ve taught and led small groups and Bible studies for over 25 years. I’ve written and led retreats, built women’s ministry teams from scratch, and mentored leaders into their callings. I’ve made the mistakes, learned from them, and watched God move in ways I never could have planned.

Some of the tools I’ve created that can take some of the work off your plate:

  • Ice breakers that actually work (no awkward silence!).

  • Event planning checklists and templates.

  • Small group covenants to help set healthy expectations from the start.

  • Mentoring program outlines and step by step guides.

  • Retreat planning outlines and step by step guides.

I am also available to speak at your next event whether it is a one night or weekend! Let’s talk!

Retreats…

As women’s ministry leaders, we long to see the women we serve grow in faith, deepen their relationships, and find true rest in Christ. One of the most powerful tools we have to facilitate that kind of transformation? Retreats.

Retreats are more than just getaways—they’re sacred spaces where God often does His most personal, healing work.

Why Retreats Matter

In our fast-paced, always-connected world, women are longing for rest, meaningful connection, and spiritual renewal. A retreat offers all three—plus the space to hear God’s voice without the constant noise of everyday life.

The Power of Community

So much of Jesus’ ministry happened in intimate gatherings—on mountainsides, in homes, in gardens. When we create space for women to gather outside of their normal routines, something shifts. Vulnerability deepens. Laughter gets louder. Tears become healing. Bonds form that don’t always happen in weekly Bible studies or church lobbies.

A retreat gives women time to:

  • Be seen and heard.

  • Share meals and stories.

  • Pray together without time limits.

  • Move from surface relationships to true sisterhood.

Spiritual and Emotional Benefits of Retreats

Women often return from retreats:

  • Spiritually recharged and recommitted.

  • More deeply connected to one another.

  • Better able to handle life’s stress and responsibilities.

  • Inspired to take next steps in their faith journey.

Retreats give space for reflection, healing, and celebration. God often speaks clearly when we slow down long enough to listen.

You Can Do This—And You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

Planning a retreat can feel daunting. But I’m here to help. I’ve written and led many retreats over the years and have resources to guide you every step of the way—from choosing a theme to creating schedules and small group questions.

Don’t wait for the “perfect time.” The women you serve are hungry for connection and renewal now.

Let’s create sacred space together—because retreats aren’t a luxury in women’s ministry. They’re a necessity.

Mentoring

Mentoring is one of the most powerful tools we have to deepen relationships, support each other in everyday life, and grow in our walk with Christ. As Women’s Ministry leaders, fostering a culture of mentorship can create a legacy of spiritual strength and unity in our churches.

1. Deepening Relationships within the Church

Mentorship builds genuine, trust-filled relationships that extend beyond Sunday mornings. When women walk alongside each other through seasons of joy, challenge, and growth, it creates lasting bonds. A mentor becomes not only a spiritual guide but a friend—a trusted confidante who helps navigate life through a biblical lens. These deep connections knit the church body closer together, fostering unity and love.

2. Equipping Women for Daily Life

Life is complex—filled with career decisions, parenting struggles, relationship dynamics, and personal growth. Mentorship offers women a safe place to ask questions, seek wisdom, and gain practical insight from those who have walked a similar path. Through prayer, encouragement, and shared experiences, mentors can speak truth into everyday moments, helping mentees apply biblical principles to real-life situations.

3. Strengthening Faith and Discipleship

At its heart, mentorship is discipleship. It is the intentional act of pouring into another’s life spiritually. Through regular prayer, Scripture study, and conversation, both mentor and mentee grow in their faith. The mentor provides accountability, encouragement, and spiritual guidance, helping mentees mature in Christ and discover their God-given purpose.
